Four and a half years ago, Kimberley was looking for something specific: a young, dynamic team where she could grow, create, and have the freedom to shape her own ideas. Based in Rotterdam, Kimberley joined MoreApp after discovering the company on LinkedIn. From the very first conversation, Kimberley had a good feeling. The opportunities, the energy, and the international mindset immediately stood out. From writing content and managing marketing projects, creativity and strategy go hand in hand. She constantly connects content back to the broader marketing strategy, ensuring every piece supports company goals and customer needs.


How I describe MoreApp

If I had to sum up MoreApp in a few words, I’d say it’s a place where teamwork comes first, ideas matter, and improvement is part of the daily rhythm. The culture is cooperative and relaxed, yet ambitious. You’re encouraged to bring your ideas forward and make them real.

Every day is different

That’s what I love most. Some days I’m writing content or visuals. Other days, I’m reviewing posts, aligning with the team, or connecting strategy to execution. Project management is also a big part, to keep things moving while ensuring everything aligns with our bigger goals. I get inspired by customer input, industry trends, and creative minds I follow. I transfer this to my work, the team and see how our customers can benefit from this.

Cross-team collaboration

Working with other teams is one of the best parts of my job. When we combine different perspectives from Sales, Product, and Support, great ideas emerge. That collaboration doesn’t just help our work; it keeps me motivated and inspired.

B2B vs. B2C: Is there really a difference?

In my opinion, the gap between B2B and B2C has become smaller over time. At the end of the day, you’re communicating with people. The language and goals might differ, especially in SaaS, but it’s about reaching the right audience at the right stage of their customer journey. Strong storytelling helps bring everything together, especially when aligning content with where a customer is in their orientation phase.

How do you make sure content fits the MoreApp brand?

You try to come up with an original angle, something that captures attention or makes people think. But does it actually support our customers? Is the tone of voice right? Is it easy and enjoyable to read? That’s where storytelling comes in.

Storytelling ties it all together, helping users find the information they need or didn’t know they needed. Before anything goes live, it goes through a careful internal review. The technical details are checked to ensure everything is accurate and reliable. After that, the Marketing team aligns on the bigger picture: Does this reflect the message we want to share? Does it support our goals? And most importantly, does it truly represent MoreApp’s values?

What makes MoreApp a place to learn, grow, and innovate?

It’s a place where you can truly learn and grow. There’s always something new happening. I’ve really enjoyed supporting the onboarding of interns and new colleagues and seeing them find their place in the team. When people choose to stay and continue developing within the company, that’s the greatest compliment an organisation can receive. It builds a strong and lasting foundation. I’ve created many great memories with the team. Each year, we come together for a large team event. While local office events are always fun, it is the global gatherings that truly strengthen collaboration across the entire department.
