If you admire MoreApp’s product design, there’s a good chance you’re looking at Kayleigh’s work - the face behind its clean and intuitive user interface. With a specialism in data-driven design and the ethical use of data in design processes, Kayleigh is the perfect fit at MoreApp.
She has been part of the team for three years as a Product Designer based at the office in Rotterdam. She studied Communication & Multimedia Design at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, and her eye for design, understanding of coding and passion for solving complex puzzles ultimately led her to Product Design. International, innovative, and welcoming. It doesn’t carry the typical corporate vibe. It’s a company that truly embraces development, new ideas, and constant innovation.
Flexible and open-minded. Working from home is easy and helpful, especially because I have a dog. Everyone is open to each other’s ideas; when you share something, you’re heard. The atmosphere is relaxed, approachable, and collaborative.
I love taking complex problems and making them feel simple. Our product has a complex backend and challenging features, and turning those into intuitive experiences keeps the work exciting. You never get bored at MoreApp; every day brings something new.
I collaborate a lot with our Product Owner, the marketing team (though I’d love to do even more with them), and of course, our developers. I brainstorm with developers multiple times a day, and understanding code makes it easier to design well. My days are filled with design work, discussions, and exploration. We work with epics and tasks that vary from week-long focuses to small tickets you can solve in an hour.
Figma is my number one, without a doubt. It’s the main tool I use, and there aren’t many tools that can truly replace it. With all the upcoming AI features in Figma, especially Figma Make, it’s becoming even more essential in my workflow.
I mainly use Figma Make as my AI-powered design tool, but I actively explore other AI tools like Bolt, Lovable and Cursor to quickly generate ideas and create prototypes, so I can iterate on designs faster.
The importance of collaboration. Before joining MoreApp, I often designed without really knowing what happened in the background. Learning how things work in development has made me a much better designer. Working closely with customers is just as important. Their feedback is everything, because the product is ultimately for them.
The complexity. It might not look like a complex product at first, but there’s a lot going on under the surface. Constantly simplifying the platform is like solving puzzles every day.
The close collaboration with the dev team is incredibly valuable. Mismatches between design and implementation are inevitable, but working closely together from the start helps us align them as much as possible. It’s always an iterative process, with continuous room for improvement. As designers, we can help ensure the product doesn’t turn into a purely developer-driven experience - we make it intuitive, user-friendly, and appealing.
I read a lot, take workshops, and regularly follow online courses - thanks to MoreApp’s training budget. Workshops, especially around AI, help me stay ahead because many companies are already experimenting with these technologies.
There’s a lot of room to experiment, both internally and externally. You can try things, test ideas, fail, and learn what works and what doesn’t. That freedom has helped me grow a lot.
The “People over profit” is not just a slogan; it’s truly embedded. There is no unhealthy pressure or constant overworking. There’s always plenty to do, but never in a way that compromises well-being. If you occasionally work longer because you’re in the flow, that’s fine, but it’s never expected.
There are many. The ski trip was amazing! I had never skied before! It was great to experience colleagues in such a different setting. And working from the Barcelona office is always memorable. Barcelona is calm and cosy, while Rotterdam is more chaotic - but equally fun.
Because you get a lot of creative freedom as a designer. You’re not limited by strict rules or tight budgets. Everyone is passionate about improving the product. Every day you come in thinking, “Yes, let’s make the product even better today.”

Working at MoreApp means no day is the same. One day, you will be diving deep into one of our projects, and the other day, you’re starring in one of our photo shoots. (Not mandatory, of course. You get the point, work can be fun while focusing on growth.
You are joining an international team that raises the bar every day, for themselves and the product. We do so by uplifting others and collaborating. The team, based in Rotterdam, Barcelona, Berlin and Nantes, helps each other to do 1% better, and contributes to our mission of becoming the best field service management tool. Are you ready to step in on this journey?
