Connecting teams, creating impact

In January 2026, Lars joined MoreApp as a Product Owner. Being the bridge between ideas and execution isn’t always simple, but for Lars, it’s exactly what makes his role as Product Owner exciting. He connects teams, stakeholders, and customers to ensure every step forward is intentional and impactful.

From customer success to product ownership

Lars started his career in SaaS five years ago, beginning in customer success and became more involved in the product side of the business. Lars found himself drawn closer to the technical and development work behind building products.

“What really attracted me is the stage MoreApp is in. In a scale-up, you can truly make an impact. You’re close to the product, the people, and the decisions. That’s where I believe you can add the most value.”

How would you describe the work culture?

It’s a people-centered and innovative organisation. MoreApp is also very ambitious and always looking to improve, living by the motto of 1% every single day. This mindset really stuck with me because it’s realistic, motivating, and drives real progress. Everyone is working on self-development and wants to grow alongside with the company.

The atmosphere here is open and relaxed. There’s no hierarchy, just people who want to learn, grow, and create something better together. I felt welcomed from day one, and that has helped me find my rhythm and take ownership of my work.

While I’m still easing into my role, I really appreciate the trust and freedom. You’re given space to figure things out and take ownership.

What does a typical day look like?

My typical day varies, but usually starts with a stand-up with one of our development teams. We touch base, align on priorities, and prepare for refinement sessions or sprint reviews. I’m constantly communicating updates, answering questions, and reflecting on what went well and what can be improved, both with the team and stakeholders.

I also spend time gathering feedback, helping shape our roadmap, and making sure the team’s work aligns with customer needs. That balance between development, strategy, and collaboration is what I enjoy the most about this role. Being in the middle of it all and helping different teams move forward together is incredibly rewarding.

Working with the development team

One of the highlights of this role is the collaboration with the development team. It’s a diverse team with different personalities and strengths. Everyone brings their own qualities, and together it works very well. That collaboration makes the work both effective and enjoyable. Being part of this ambitious, enthusiastic, and creative team motivates me every day.

Proud moments so far

In my short time working here, I’m already proud of  taking ownership of improving how we share product updates by introducing more visual bi-weekly sprint demos, and I’m currently working on a clearer roadmap timeline.

It’s great to see how small improvements can already make communication clearer and more engaging.
