With over 600 employees, its projects contribute to improving public services and fostering urban and social development across Brazil. The adoption of MoreApp marked a key step in transforming its data management and operational processes.
Challenge
Houer operates in sectors such as railways, water, and public lighting, where accurate field data collection is essential. Before implementing MoreApp, the process was inefficient:
- Dependence on support to complete forms;
- Large volumes of physical paperwork (e.g., Salvador metro stations);
- High risk of duplicated work due to manual data digitisation.
There was a clear need for a fast, reliable solution to enable real-time data collection and processing.
Solution
The implementation of MoreApp marked a turning point in Houer’s data management. Teams became able to collect structured data independently, without technical support.
With API integration, data consolidation and processing became faster and more efficient, enabling engineers to make decisions based on reliable, real-time information.
Results
Building on this success, Houer developed MOaMO (MoreApp Monitoring), an in-house ETL tool designed to standardise and ensure data consistency.
With MOaMO, Houer can:
- Update forms without impacting data structure;
- Control changes and prevent data loss;
- Allocate project costs based on submission volumes.
Integration with Power BI enables interactive dashboards, enhancing efficiency, traceability, and reliability for all users, including non-technical staff.
