MoreApp vs TrueContext: Unlimited Users and Data That Stays in the EU (2026)

If your field team keeps growing, MoreApp is the better fit. Every MoreApp plan includes unlimited users, the API and EU-only data hosting, while TrueContext ties each user to a purchased license and runs on servers in the United States. You can start with MoreApp in minutes, with monthly billing if you'd rather not sign for a full year.

MoreApp and TrueContext (formerly ProntoForms) both replace paper forms for teams who work on site: inspectors, installers, service technicians and safety officers. Both apps let people fill in forms on a phone or tablet, work without a connection, and send the results on to other systems. The differences show up in how each tool charges for users, where your data lives and how much setup you need before the first form goes live.

This page compares the two side by side on pricing, users, integrations, security and getting started. We checked TrueContext's public pricing page, documentation and trust center in October 2026.

Feature-by-feature breakdown

Does MoreApp charge per user?

No. Every MoreApp plan includes unlimited users, so adding people never changes your price.
Our plans scale with the number of submissions your team sends each month, not with headcount. TrueContext advertises its entry price "for your entire team," but its documentation says each user takes up a purchased license and you can only add as many users as you have licenses. Seasonal crews, subcontractors and new hires can all have their own login on MoreApp without a new license request.

Is the API included on every MoreApp plan?

Yes, from Branch upward, at no extra cost.
MoreApp's API is documented publicly and built to keep running as your volume grows, so an integration you set up once doesn't need regular maintenance. TrueContext's integrations page lists full REST API access under its Intelligent tier, which is priced on quote.

How does MoreApp protect our data?

MoreApp is ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certified and audited by independent firms every year.
ISO 27001 covers information security and ISO 27701 covers privacy management, and staff with access to systems are background-checked. TrueContext's trust center doesn't list either ISO certification, so if your procurement team requires them, ask TrueContext directly.

Where is our data stored?

In the EU, on Google Cloud in Eemshaven, the Netherlands.
Our team, servers and every sub-processor are based in the EU, which keeps GDPR questions simple for your DPO. TrueContext's servers run on AWS in the United States, and all 12 sub-processors on its trust center are listed as processing data in the US.

Can we start without a yearly contract?

Yes. You can pay month to month and switch to annual billing later.
Start with a 14-day trial that needs no credit card, then run MoreApp in the field on monthly billing before you commit to a full year. TrueContext's published Digital price is billed annually, and its trial is requested through a form.

Can our own team set up MoreApp?

Yes. The no-code form builder has 35+ field types and needs no technical background.
Supervisors and office staff build and change forms themselves, without scripting or a consultant. On TrueContext, Implementation Services come bundled with the Intelligent and Elite tiers and are an optional add-on for Digital. If you'd like help anyway, MoreApp offers optional onboarding workshops and a starter kit.

Does MoreApp connect to Microsoft 365 and our other tools?

Yes, through a native, certified Power Automate connector, with Make and Zapier available on every plan as well.
One Power Automate connection reaches the rest of Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Power BI, and Make or Zapier cover thousands of other apps. TrueContext's integrations page doesn't mention Zapier or Make, so connecting a tool outside its own connector list usually means working with the API.

Pricing: MoreApp vs TrueContext

TrueContext publishes one price: its Digital tier starts at $400 a month, billed annually, which comes to at least $4,800 a year up front. The Intelligent and Elite tiers, where SSO and the full REST API sit, are priced on quote, and TrueContext doesn't offer euro pricing. Each user also needs a license from your subscription.

MoreApp publishes its prices in euros. Branch costs €174 a month on annual billing (€190 if you pay monthly) and includes 700 submissions a month. Tree costs €585 a month on annual billing (€638 monthly) and includes 2,500 submissions a month. Forest is priced to fit larger organisations. Every plan has unlimited users and unlimited forms, and extra submissions cost €0.40 each on Branch and Tree. See full MoreApp pricing →

Here's what that means for a 20-person service team sending around 600 forms a month. On MoreApp, Branch covers all 20 users and the full volume for €174 a month, and adding a 21st or 40th technician costs nothing. On TrueContext, that team starts at $400 a month on a yearly contract and then has to size its license count before anyone new can log in. If your volume grows past 700 submissions but stays well below Tree's 2,500, we can add a submission tier to your current plan, so you don't need to jump straight to Tree.

TrueContext can make more sense for teams in the United States whose work falls under US-specific rules such as HIPAA or FDA 21 CFR Part 11, which it lists on every tier. For European teams that want predictable costs as they add people, MoreApp is the simpler and more affordable choice.

Why teams switch to MoreApp

Teams that move from TrueContext to MoreApp usually tell us the same handful of things.

New technicians stopped meaning new licenses
Nobody has to check a license count when someone joins. New hires, seasonal crews and subcontractors get a login on their first day, and the invoice stays the same.
The privacy review got a lot shorter
With servers and sub-processors all in the EU and ISO 27001 and 27701 certificates on file, the DPO and IT security have the answers they need up front.
Integrations stopped needing upkeep
IT connects MoreApp to the back office once, through an API that comes with every plan, and it keeps running as submission volume grows.
Field testing came before the yearly contract
Monthly billing lets a company roll MoreApp out to a couple of crews first and move to annual billing once convinced.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is MoreApp cheaper than TrueContext?

For most European teams, yes. MoreApp's Branch plan costs €174 a month on annual billing with unlimited users, while TrueContext's entry Digital tier starts at $400 a month, billed annually, and higher tiers are priced on quote. Because MoreApp never charges per user, the gap usually widens as your team grows.

Does TrueContext charge per user?

TrueContext doesn't publish a per-user price, but its documentation explains that each user occupies a purchased license, and you can add users only up to the number of licenses you've bought. MoreApp includes unlimited users on every plan.

Where does TrueContext store its data, and where does MoreApp?

TrueContext's servers run on AWS in the United States, and its trust center lists all of its sub-processors as processing data in the US. MoreApp stores all data in the EU, on Google Cloud in the Netherlands, and every MoreApp sub-processor is EU-based.

Does the API cost extra on MoreApp?

No. The MoreApp API comes with every plan at no extra cost, along with webhooks and our Power Automate, Make and Zapier connections. TrueContext's integrations page lists its full REST API under the Intelligent tier.

Can I try MoreApp before committing?

Yes. The free trial runs for 14 days, includes 75 submissions and doesn't need a credit card. After that you can choose monthly or annual billing. TrueContext's Digital price is billed annually, and its trial is requested through its website.

Does MoreApp work offline like TrueContext?

Yes. Both apps let field users fill in forms without a connection. In MoreApp, offline submissions are stored on the device and sent automatically once the connection is back.

Can MoreApp connect to Microsoft 365?

Yes. MoreApp has a native, certified Power Automate connector that reaches the rest of Microsoft 365, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and Power BI, on every plan.
